ABOUT PWL

PWL was founded in 1960,  located in Thailand, with 900+ employees. The factory is established with 306 double-beam Sulzer weaving machines, 10 OE spinning machines, duo-core spinning machines, and the rope dyeing system. The spinning capacity of 20,000 ring spindles and 50,000,000 yards of denim fabrics can be produced annually.

QUALITY CONTROL

Raw fibers are tested using USTER HVI and

AFIS. For fabrics, they are tested under worldwide standards including  AATCC, ASTM, and ISO standards.

INSPECTION

Four-Point System, a standard established under ASTM D5430 – 07(2011)

SPINNING

PWL employed both ring spinning and open-end spinning in operations. Machines involved include Rieter, Zinser, Murata, Schlafhorst, and Trutzschler.

DYEING

PWL utilizes both rope dyeing and slasher dyeing processes, using DyStar Indigo.

WEAVING

PWL using Sulzer projectile weaving machines from Switzerland. During weaving, technicians control the machines through an online system that assures optimal execution.

FINISHING

After being run through fabric softener, the fabrics are preshrunk and dried in a systematized method that further assures total consistency.
